tuesday js is in beta and is now available to everyone.

tuesday is engine  for browser visual novel written in javascript without using convas or third-party libraries like jQuery. It uses standard html elements like <div> or <img>, which makes it possible to use css styles or add your own functionality using js.

The project consists of 3 main elements. Html file (index.html) with tuesday.js engine file connected to it and history script in json file or let array.

You, too, can help by trying to transfer the existing story to the new engine and telling about your experience, this will greatly help its development. Together we can create the best tool for creating visual novels!
